In its fifth year, this year’s National eSmart Week was held on 1-7 September with the theme of “Keeping Communities Safe Online”.
The Week had more than 1,000 participants from Aussie schools, libraries, community organisations and workplaces. Together they created awareness, solutions and ideas for education on issues of cyber safety, bullying and wellbeing.

Are your words doing damage is a powerful video made by 15-year-old filmmaker Charlotte McLaverty for our partner Dolly’s Dream. With the backing of 17-year-old international star Billie Eilish, this is an important video by teens for teens that will help start a conversation between parents and young people.

The power of games
The Digital Australia 2020 report, which examines the habit, behaviours and attitudes of gaming in Australian households, looks at the Power of Games. The report demonstrates how Australians are engaging with video games to entertain, transform, create, connect, communicate, live well and educate.
Join us at the Alannah & Madeline Foundation's annual Buddy Run and say no to bullying.
The family-friendly vout promotes the themes of inclusion and respect and raises awareness and funds to help protect children against bullying and cyber bullying.

We are offering professional learning days in Term 4 exclusively to eSmart registered schools.These events will:
• feature presentations from industry experts
• provide a great opportunity to network with other schools and professionals
• extend your professional knowledge of cyber safety and bullying
• explore emerging trends in technology
• provide practical strategies that you can implement in your school
• help you to move through the eSmart Framework.
